A Word From Our President
Happy New Year!
We hope that you all had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday season! We’re looking forward to a new year with the Northern Nevada Child Care Association!
We would like to take a moment to share some new things that NNCCA is doing this year.
First of all, we are going GREEN! The association has already saved hundreds of dollars by sending the majority of the class schedules via email. We plan to do a lot of our correspondence through email and hope that you will join us in doing a small part to conserve our resources (and due money too)!

When registering for classes, you may email or call Amy Barthel (vice president) at 746-3598. However, CHECKS MUST STILL BE RECEIVED BY MAIL 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE to reserve your spot in the class.
Our annual election/appreciation dinner will be held on March 26, 2010. This is a change from the original class schedule. All four offices are open and we welcome any nominations! Please call Amy for more information.
We will be voting on proposed by-law changes at the election dinner. Please look forward to a phone call from either Amy or Carolyn explaining these changes in the near future.
We hope that everyone has a prosperous new year and look forward to seeing you at classes and the appreciation dinner!

Walk begins @ 9:00 am
Family Fun Day from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Same day registration for the WALK begins at 8:00am. Strollers, children of all ages and family pets (on a leash) are welcome to participate in the walk.
Walkers wearing PURPLE will receive a FREE raffle ticket
Stay and enjoy FREE activities for children, prizes, food, and informational booths for
Family Fun Day!
